Excellence For All
Welcome to Holy Family Catholic Academy
Part of St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust, Holy Family Catholic Academy is a thriving primary school.
Reception had the best Monday ever on their trip to Delamere Forest! 🌲✨
They explored the magical woodland, toasted delicious marshmallows by the fire, and created festive Christmas crafts. What an unforgettable adventure!
This term, our 3-year-old Nursery children have been exploring the magical world of traditional tales! They’ve been busy retelling stories, acting them out, and taking part in exciting hands-on activities.
Our Christmas Extravaganza is tonight, 5pm - 7pm, we can't wait to see you!
Last week we celebrated the stars of our school, our fantastic support staff in collaboration with @Unison
We all agree that our support staff are the heart of our school and we couldn’t run a school without them.
Thanks to Mrs Kavanagh for organising our Support staff treats.
Last week our 2-Year Olds the took part in a fun, sensory food-tasting activity linked to Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. The children explored porridge with different toppings. They spoke about what they like and dislike and showed us some great facial expressions too.
2 Year Old Nursery have been exploring colour and using their fine motor skills. Using pipettes to drip the colour onto cotton wool pads to create “poisonous apples,” They also used lots of descriptive language & loved experimenting and watching the magic happen. 🍎🪄
We are exploring the possibility of expanding our Nursery provision to care for children from 9 months old. If this is a service that you feel you would be interested in, please can complete the link attached. Please only complete once.

Y3 listened to Laudato Si 88 in RE and thought about small steps we could do to make amends to God's creation. We decided to carry out a litter pick around school. It was worth the wet feet to carry out a good deed! This also links with our work around Catholic Social teaching
🎉 Huge congratulations to our Year 6 Maths Team!
They took FIRST place in yesterday’s Maths Challenge at St Edmund Arrowsmith — with the highest score in 8 years!
We’re incredibly proud of you all. 👏
