Hello and Welcome to Year Five!
Over this summer term I am looking forward to teaching your children and supporting them through their closing chapter in Year 5. I cannot wait to welcome them back into the classroom and start our learning journey together. There will be lots of things to remember and it will be very busy with lots of new learning as we delve deep into the history of Baghdad and the Middle East, become scientists as we discover all about Life Cycles and turn into amazing writers as we read The Closest Thing To Flying written by Gill Lewis but we will have lots of fun and laughter along the way. The children will become more independent and with this take responsibility for their own attitudes towards learning. As a school, we encourage all children to be the best that they can be and to always try their best. In Year Five, we work hard; take pride in all we do and celebrate all our accomplishments together.
