Hello and welcome to Year 3!
Year 3 is a very important step for the children as they move from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. Whilst in Year 3, the children are encouraged to develop their independence and to become active, mature learners.
We have a very exciting and engaging curriculum in Year 3, where we will explore various texts in English such as The BFG and Cloudbusting, learning how to play a brass instrument with Wigan Music Service and in History we delve into the past to discover Ancient Egypt!
Throughout their time in Year 3, all children are encouraged to try their best and to show off their individual talents and skills. We work hard to support the children to enable them to flourish and reach their full potential. Above all, we aim to ensure that all children feel valued and have an enjoyable and successful year in Year 3.
